I was asked to create a booth design for Bumbleloom (a children's craft company) for the 2012 Swiss Days in Midway, Utah. Swiss Days is a ginormous craft market place with a Swiss theme (according to the city's heritage). The booth had many constraints such as: easily assembled and re-assembled, size constraints, light-weight, semi-weather proof, budget-friendly and it needed to attract both children and adults to get the competitive edge.
I also got the opportunity to put some of my work in the booth! This was extremely exciting because I got to speak with customers face-to-face about my products. I chose to bring felt 'Mail Bags', with chalk-writeable postcards. They are make-believe postman bags with the opportunity to send 'actual' messages. I hand-made all of them. I also snuck in a few of the Luminaires.
